Collaborate with Programs and Communications to highlight membership benefits.

AAF SF Bay Area is seeking a Programs Chair to define and lead our overall programming strategy—shaping the events, workshops, and experiences that connect, inspire, and grow our community.
🛠 What You’ll Do
Own and lead the annual programming strategy and calendar
Oversee execution of key events, including the American Advertising Awards and flagship programming
Manage and mentor Programs Co-Chairs and volunteers
Partner with Sponsorship, Communications, and Membership to align programming with broader goals
Identify new opportunities for partnerships, formats, and community engagement
Ensure programming reflects the needs and interests of the Bay Area creative community

Help manage strategy and execution for social media, website, and email campaigns.
Develop and maintain a content calendar with consistent brand voice.
Collaborate with Programs and Sponsorship to promote events and highlight sponsors.
Support initiatives to grow our digital presence and attract new members.
Commit to ~8+ hrs/month, including board and creative planning meetings.

AAF SF Bay Area is looking for a Secretary to support board effectiveness by managing meeting documentation, communication flow, and organizational records.
🛠 What You’ll Do
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas in collaboration with leadership
Record and publish meeting minutes following each board meeting
Track key decisions, action items, and follow-ups
Maintain organizational documents and records
Support board coordination and communication as needed

Ability to capture and synthesize discussions into actionable notes

Experience with Google Docs, Drive, or similar tools
