Carol H. Williams

Carol H. Williams is the first Black woman Creative Director inducted into the AAF Hall of Fame and the driving force behind iconic campaigns like “Strong Enough For a Man, But Made For a Woman.” As Founder and CCO of Carol H. Williams Advertising, she has spent decades shaping inclusive, impactful marketing strategies that celebrate Black culture, challenge stereotypes, and amplify diverse voices. A pioneering leader in multicultural advertising, Carol continues to transform the industry and open doors for young creatives. 

Jeff Goodby

Co-Chairman & Partner,
Goodby, Silverstein & Partners

Jeff Goodby is a legendary writer, artist, and director, best known for his work at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, including iconic campaigns like “got milk?” and the Budweiser Lizards. A Harvard graduate and former newspaper reporter, his illustrations have appeared in TIME, Mother Jones, and other national publications. A member of the One Club Hall of Fame and recipient of the Cannes Lion of St. Mark Award, Jeff continues to inspire the next generation of young creatives and advertising innovators.

Eligibility requirements: 

  • Be a U.S. resident or have the legal visa status to accept the scholarship. 

  • Be between the ages of 14 and 22 at the time of application. 

  • Complete the application process in full. 

  • Agree to the official Terms and Conditions outlined below. 

All applications will be reviewed by the AAF SF Bay Amplify Award Committee, a panel of industry professionals dedicated to fostering the next generation of talent in advertising, communication, and marketing.
